Public contract payout vary greatly. Not on performance but on how little you do. It's a common issue that those who don't actively participate in the match get paid more than those who actually do.
- Negotiation Additional pay by 5% per skill level for public contracts.
The lower the payment at the end of the match is the less evident the skill would be. However, the user will be paid according to their contributions in the battlefield.
Let's assume that I didn't do as good as I had anticipated in a public match and I earn a measly 150,000 ISK total. It's not good by any stretch but that's what I deserve for not pulling my weight.
With the skill in place however, I would earn a total of 187,500 ISK (150,000 + 25%). It's still not a good payout for not doing much at all.
Here are some of the expected values varying greatly on performance.
150,000 + 25% = 187,500 200,000 + 25% = 250,000 250,000 + 25% = 312,500 300,000 + 25% = 375,000 350,000 + 25% = 437,500 400,000 + 25% = 500,000 450,000 + 25% = 562,500 500,000 + 25% = 625,000
(Payout are never expected to be evenly distributed by 50,000[this is a rough sketch])
My idea is for the payments to cap at 750,000 flat-ISK (without the skill). The idea that I'm putting on the table has to do with increasing the overall ISK payout of public matches without discrediting those who sacrificed some of their SP for more ISK; similar to a counterbalance.
In addition, the top performer of the match would get an additional 150,000 ISK and the runner up would get a bonus of 75,000 ISK (this will be done by how many WP the both players have, not by how many kills or deaths they have). The payouts at the end of the match won't be fair but they won't be a giveaway either.
Player A (3,000 WP) 400,000 + 25% = 500,000 + 150,000 = 650,000 Player B (2,500 WP) 387,000 + 25% = 483,750 + 75,000 = 558,750
The latter is a rough sketch of what to expect at the end of a match. Of course payout will vary greatly depending on WP percentage and can go as far as 600,000 ISK in a battle.
